In 1939 Connecticut ratified the Bill of Rights last among original colonies. In 1943 Warsaw Ghetto Jews fought Nazis in a doomed uprising. In 1993 the Waco siege ended with a fire at the Branch Davidian compound and dozens killed. In 1995 the Oklahoma City bombing destroyed the Federal Building killing 168.
