Farmers to Cast Vote on Entire AAA Program
Kansas City April 18 officials of the AAA view a nationwide referendum on continuing the wheat adjustment program for four more years as a vote on the entire AAA program. John Dexter told AAA and state agriculture officials from 11 states that this is more than a wheat vote and that the referendum lets farmers express opinion on the program as a whole. Far from clear is the required majority to pass or defeat. Secretary Alsace will consider total votes rather than margins. Sheriff Monta of Sullivan County New Hampshire swore out and served a warrant on himself for operating a vehicle under the influence and paid a $100 fine after an accident in Claremont.
