Explosion injures many at Olin Mathieson plant in Kentucky
An explosion at the Olin Mathieson Chemical Corp. plant in Brandenburg Kentucky injured more than 25 employees and damaged multiple concrete buildings on the 100 acre site. Sixteen reported hospitalized with none in critical condition. The blast shattered windows across Brandenburg and disrupted power as tanks of ethylene oxide exploded. The cause was not immediately known and operations were expected to resume within 48 hours.

Bomb damage report at KU near Pears on Hall
