Lawrence schools face 1.7 million budget cut under new formula
Lawrence public schools may lose 1.7 million dollars annually in budget authority due to changes in Kansas school finance formula approved by lawmakers. Superintendent Rick Doll called for a potential move to 33 percent LOB pending board and community discussion.
