Burials set for Hunley crew in Charleston funeral
Charleston prepares for what officials call the last Civil War funeral with more than 30,000 expected. The crew of the Hunley will be buried April 17 in Magnolia Cemetery after four years since the submarine was raised. A 10,000-strong procession will accompany horse drawn caissons from near the Battery to the cemetery, with Civil War reenactors and descendants attending from England to Charleston.
