Hults Stays McDonald To Leave Turnpike Body
State Senator Don Hults of Lawrence will remain on the Kansas Turnpike Authority under a law Gov. John Anderson signed. The measure replaces the 7 member board with a 5 member body effective May 11, shifting control toward Republicans. Frank McDonald of Lawrence, current KTA chair, will exit the new Authority.
