Ticket Campaign Launches for Kansas Relays at KU
The third annual Kansas Relays kickoff begins in downtown Lawrence and on campus with a university wide ticket canvass by K men and W A A women. Tickets may be bought at the athletic office or Round Corner drug store as 1000 athletes from 14 states descend on Memorial Stadium for the event.

Western Electric Sends Miniature Phone Display to KU Engineers
The Hawthorne plant of Western Electric Chicago loans a small telephone display to the University of Kansas engineering school for Engineers Day Exposition. Mark Putman, a KU Engineering graduate, will set up and oversee the display, which features a complete telephone with parts, relays, receivers at various stages, and different cable types.

Lawrence women fined in Kansas City motor car case
Two women from Lawrence, Hans, Miss Thelma Vieux aged 19 and Miss Florence Brassfield 18, dressed as a boy and were fined 100 dollars each by Judge M J Kilroy after police stopped their motor car on Gladstone boulevard and Lawndale avenue. Two men, D L Hixon 40 and Ernest Harris 39, joined them after the dance and obtained wine. Thelma testified she often dressed as a boy.
