KU seeks OK for name of building housing Rules of Basket Ball
Kansas University asks the Kansas Board of Regents to approve a name for an Allen Fieldhouse addition that will house James Naismith s original Rules of Basketball. The 31,000 square foot museum space is funded by private donations as part of an 18 million dollar special events venue linked to Booth Family Hall of Athletics. The regents meet Wednesday to consider the name and also authorization to raze Burt Hall for the School of Engineering expansion after its nuclear reactor was decommissioned in the 1970s.
