Vote of Censur e Withdrawn in Jamaica Council

Kingston Jamaica April 11 The Legislative Council resumed session with Governor Hemming reading a statement that grants absolute unconditional surrender withdraws officials and restores the status quo ante bellum inviting the representatives to extend fellowship. Representatives withdrew the vote of censure and appropriated 8500,000 to meet immediate obligations pending financial rearrangement. Thirteen Lives Lost in Harlem River Bridge Accident

In New York on April 11 a bridge construction accident at One Hundred Thirty Second Street on the Harlem River killed thirteen workers. Three died at once, ten drowned, and one was injured.

Missouri man freed after murder trials in multiple cases

William S. Foley, jailed for two years on murder charges involving his mother and sister in Missouri, was released and appeared on Liberty streets.
