Genius of Women benefit show in Kansas Union Friday
The eighth annual Genius of Women variety show benefits a rescue center for children and a shelter for child mothers in Malindi Kenya. At 7 30 p m the Kansas Room program offers music poetry dance and original works by students. Sponsored by St Lawrence Institute for Faith and Culture it draws on Pope John Paul II writings. Last year it raised over 300 for Family Promise of Lawrence with about 125 attendees. The event is free but donations are welcome.

Africa World Documentary Film Festival at KU
