Water issues prompt Wellsville residents to boil water
Officials say the risk is not automatic and recent tests show no coliform but low chlorine. About 20 homes on a 75 year old dead end line north of Wellsville may lack circulation. The EDHE will lift advisories only after four weeks of positive tests. Alternatives include looping the line, replacing the pipe, or adding a new Baldwin pump station.
