Activist speaks on farm cruelty at Kansas University
National animal rights advocate Gene Baur of Farm Sanctuary spoke at the Great Plains Conference on Animals and the Environment in Lawrence. He urged public awareness to curb cruelty in factory farming and urged voting with money to press changes, noting growing vegetarian options and healthier lifestyles.
