Missing man’s body found in Joplin water pit
In northwest Joplin investigators recovered the body of Rick Kimbrough, 34, after an informant led to a water pit where the victim had been weighted down. Steven Johnson, 32, was arrested and charged with first degree murder, with a 17 year old and another person questioned. Kimbrough disappeared March 7. his truck was later found charred.
