Morse former KU violin chief found dead in hotel
Wort S. Morse a former head of the University of Kansas violin department was found dead in a downtown St. Joseph hotel. County coroner Dr. B W Tadlock said death was from natural causes. Morse led KU violin studies 1909 to 1918 and published Midwest Violinist for eight years, studied Brussels 1902 1905, and later played with the Minneapolis Symphony Orchestra.

First Lieut. L G Crafts of the U S Army Air Corps will arrive at the University on April 17 to lead a board of four officers and a flight surgeon to examine seniors and graduates for flying cadet training.
