Donald J Dowseman was elected captain of the basketball squad for the next season at last night s meeting. Donserman received six vetoes while Stuckey got two. An annual dinner was held at Eldridge and the election event concluded the evening. Males Lenz was eligible but declined to run. Dinisemas from Kansas City is a sophomore engineer with two more years to play and may become a key player for the squad.
Unverified thefts occurred on the Same Fe tricks last week at Merelandise cars with only a few tobacco packages taken. Three tramps were involved, driven from the passenger station three times that night and seen in Ottawar yesterday. They have not been captured.
