John Skie, 41, died at 3:30 this morning from a cerebral hemorrhage at Lawrence Memorial. Proprietor of a bottling plant, he came to Lawrence from Parsons about 16 miles away. A Rotarian and First Presbyterian member, he will be buried in Parsons after funeral services Monday at 2 pm. Survived by his wife and son John Skie Jr, a chemist in Kentucky.
