A three city consortium including Lawrence Topeka and Overland Park will hire the Kansas Film Commission director to attract more productions to northeast Kansas. Three Lawrence men arrested in club caper
Lawrence police arrested three men early this morning on charges of possessing stolen golf clubs valued over 500 dollars. Officers on an auto burglary sting spotted the suspects loading clubs into a car at a residence on University Drive and arrested them after they were seen acting suspiciously. The clubs had been stolen from a St Joseph Missouri golf course. The suspects, ages 22 and 21, are held in Douglas County Jail.
