County to pick manager for Douglas County construction project
Douglas County commissioners will choose a construction manager to supervise bidding and contracting for a new Public Works facility. McCown Gordon of Kansas City is recommended from five firms, to design, bid, hire, supervise, and keep the project within budget. Preconstruction costs total 22500. The $8 to $11 million project will be funded by general obligation bonds and built next to the jail on SE 25th Street.
