U S hostage escapes rebels in Colombia jungle
One of four American bird watchers kidnapped by Colombian rebels last week escaped Thursday and wandered the jungle until found by a television news crew. Thomas Fiore of New York City said he was treated well and ate during captivity before being airlifted to Bogotá for security.
