Court orders execution display for man in Sana’a attack

An appeals court in Sana’a ordered Mohammed al Nazari executed by firing squad and his corpse to be nailed to a cross for public display after a deadly weekend incident that killed a headmistress, a teacher, a cafeteria worker, a bystander, and a student. A second student died Tuesday, with his name added to the charges. The lower court had rejected claims al Nazari acted after his daughter was hurt. Separately, IMF chief Camdessus urged resumption of lending to Russia amid tax and corruption challenges and talks in Moscow on a renewed $10 billion loan.
