Lawrence High opens day care center to aid teen mothers
Lawrence School Board approved a day care facility at Lawrence High School to help teen mothers stay in school. The program, run by students and volunteers, supports six infants and six toddlers while mothers attend class. Students wear responsibilities, learn care skills, and gain emotional guidance.
