Bismarck Grove opened with Douglas county exhibits led by Ellia and Hobbs and a large stock display from A J C C Jersey and Thomas Hughes. Races dominated the afternoon with Maud Smith and Kid H posting wins while bicycle events draw Lawrence and Topeka riders and a trick riding show by Geo Powell.
