An annual picnic from Kansas City spent a day at Bismarck Grove with five coaches carrying 400 passengers. About twenty young ladies joined in dancing from noon to 4 pm in the east dining hall. The group, mostly young men and boys, enjoyed games and races, with bets by north side boys all lost.
