Copper river rush prospectors relocate bonanza claim
In Seward Alaska the Gateway reports that Anderson located a 160 acre hydraulic gold claim in 1898 and, after years of panning and travel, joined Sumrall and Abney to relocate the property this summer. Partners include Wade H. Buckley P. V. James Dr. T. Ew Brent M. G. Abney C. D. Gibbs and P. A. Paulson of Meridian with J. M. Powell and son George visiting Laurel on business locally.
