Terrific Wind And Rain Storm Paralyzes Town
One of the most severe rain and wind storms in the area struck Wednesday night into Thursday. The north west wind shifted to north east, lifting posts and blowing down fences and roofs. Outbuildings, the Central school, and telegraph lines suffered major damage while streets became impassable.
