About nine o'clock Friday Dorsey Davis was seriously injured at Eastman Gardner Co's saw mill when a oak timber from the edger struck his left arm between elbow and wrist. The timber battered the bones and cut a five inch gash on the outer side. He is suffering greatly though doctors hope the arm may be saved if infection does not set in.
