Mrs A P Blue wife of A P Ive roadmaster of the Mobile Jackson and Kansas City Railroad died suddenly of heart failure while at a reception hosted by Mr and Mrs George S Gardiner. She grew ill in the upstairs room, a physician arrived too late, and her body was moved to the Laurel Hotel before burial in Meridian.
