Lat ee Barnet of Denton was shot accidentally by Lucian Crosby of Newton while both worked for McDaniel and Knight Lumber Co. at Gitano. The bullet struck Barnet in the stomach near the right kidney, he died Wednesday at 2 p.m. and was buried at Union Cemetery.
