Dempsy Walters Dies at 23 After Typhoid Fever
Dempsy Walters died Monday January 4 at his father in law Bud Blackledge home from typhoid fever. He was 23, son of H. E. Walters, and his remains were laid to rest in Mall Creek graveyard Tuesday. He leaves a wife and many relatives and friends. He was an exemplary Christian and longtime member of the C. M. church.

On Christmas Eve at eight o clock Mr Andrew Frederick Read and Miss Ethel E Payne were married at the home of Mr and Mrs John W Payne on Kingaton Avenue.
