Silver Wedding Anniversary Celebrated in Gallman
Rev and Mrs R F Witt of Gallman Miss celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary with a dinner from four to six p m December 22 1906. The home was festively decorated with holly mistletoe vines and silver and white floral arrangements. Guests included family and friends who admired the silver wedding bell centerpiece and the elegant silver dinner. The couple’s two daughters and two sons assisted with hosting and greetings.

Our last Sunday meeting drew a full hall as Bro Holesmb delivered a plain sermon on Behold I stand at the door and knock. 25 young men promised to live better. Several strangers joined. Next Sunday features Rev Mr Chambers and a musical program for Old Soldiers. The first basketball game of the new series saw the Y M C A Boys win a close, exciting contest over the Fire Boys. The winner plans to win again next Tuesday. A big supper for the boys will follow the next game on the 12th. winners take their girls to a cake spread, losers to crackers and water.
