Laurel County Board Declares Second District Established
The Laurel County Board, after Supreme Court rulings and a dissolved injunction, received election returns and voted unanimously to establish the second district. Supervisor Windham had moved for creation in line with April votes but the motion failed under divided votes. The Attorney General advised immediate action, leading to the board’s unanimous decision to establish the district.
