Murderous Work of an Insane Man Shot Victims Named

Jackson Mississippi reports a shocked city after John Clark, from a prominent family, shot James Johnson an insurance man fatally and wounded Hon. J W Culver president of the Yazoo and Mississippi Levee Board and a leading lawyer. Johnson died soon after. Culver suffered multiple bullet wounds including through the nose and arm with possible loss of sight. Clark was overpowered and jailed after a fierce confrontation.
