Flood Washes Camp At Willow Beach Arizona
A flash flood washed out a 50 foot water line and left four feet of mud covering roads at Willow Beach where about six campers were evacuated. The Colorado River rose six feet in two minutes with no injuries reported. Road closures affected access to U.S. 93 and Lake Mead area. The warning covered Lake Mead Mohave and Lower Colorado River for 12 hours.
