New York Governor Nelson A Rockefeller announced his bid for the Republican presidential nomination and attacked front-runner Barry Goldwater and President Kennedy. The Sentinels of Liberty report that more than 5,000 Soviet soldiers left Cuba last month. Most troops in one province have departed, according to the Cuban exile group led by Dr. Luis Conte Aguero.
