Fisher refuses press ban in high court murder case
The preliminary hearing into Sylvester J. Azbill's murder charge of his wealthy bride Rose Mapel Azbill was continued as Justice of the Peace Herman Fisher refused to ban the press from the courtroom. Defense lawyers sought to bar observers per a Nevada statute while the Nevada Supreme Court reviews the request. Azbill, a former candidate for Nevada Secretary of State, is linked to the deaths and estates of Rose Mapel Azbill and Ed Mapel.
