Malpractice Suit Against Local Doctor Rejected

A Clark County jury ruled in favor of Dr. Hugh C. Follmer in a $150,000 malpractice case filed by Shirley Cauble of North Las Vegas. Cauble claimed nerve damage during neck tumor removal in 1963 left her permanently hoarse. The defense argued the tumor was prudently removed to prevent artery or vein rupture. Judge John F. Mendoza presided as the three week trial concluded with Cauble granted indigent status for jury costs.
