Sawyer seeks Nevada special session if reapportionment no longer blocks
Gov. Grant Sawyer said he would call a May special session of the Nevada Legislature if the attorney general's opinion indicates the reapportionment case no longer bars it. He noted education and the University of Nevada would be priorities and asked Atty. Gen. Harvey Dickerson and Legislative Counsel Russ McDonald for fresh advice on possible court appeals. Flora Dungan declined comment, planning to confer with attorney Myron Lea after reviewing the decision.
