Bonanza Hotel to Add 800 Rooms in Las Vegas
Howard S. Levin of Levin Townsend Computer Corp says the Bonanza on the Las Vegas Strip will become a 1 000 room high rise. The project could yield about 1 million in annual earnings and a 3 million tax loss credit, with Nate Jacobson named CEO of the enlarged property. Kerkorian sold the hotel for just over 10 million. Levin says construction start date is not set. The Bonanza sits at Flamingo Road and the Strip, currently a two motel complex with a central casino. Levin’s firm already owns a Las Vegas golf course and country club.
