Las Vegas clerk saves drowning boy at Klondike Motel pool
Debbie Whitt a 19 year old motel desk clerk jumped into eight feet of water at the Klondike Inn pool and pulled Manuel Manuelito 14 from the bottom and gave him mouth to mouth resuscitation. She called an ambulance and he remained in intensive care hours later. The rescue followed a nephew's shout for help as Manuel fell into the pool. Whitt credited her Red Cross lifesaving training and said she stayed calm throughout the rescue.
