Plan May Cut Down Dog Bites
CHICAGO UPS A veterinarian dentist suggests blunting the top part of a dog's teeth may help cut down on dog bites. Dr. Donald Ross of Houston told an American Animal Hospital Association meeting that trimming canines and giving them a blunt shape reduces damage. He notes some pets change aggression when they can no longer inflict severe harm. Ross also says veterinarians advise brushing dogs teeth as pets live longer and eat more human food.
