In Grand Anse Grenada the OAS political committee failed to secure the 13 votes needed to condemn Cuba in the Inter American Human Rights Commission report. Ten supported and ten abstained or were absent, with plans to seek a plenary vote in the General Assembly.

Mother receives ten year term for cab driver robbery
A 25 year old mother of four, Carolyn Faye Jackson of 3104 Cummings, was sentenced to ten years in prison by Judge Paul Goldman after holding up a cab driver at gunpoint with an unidentified man on March 3. The driver said he was forced to pull over on Interstate 15 and hand over about 45 dollars before being told to walk away. Jackson was later arrested driving the cab in North Las Vegas.
