Hanleys Unions Hit by Restraining Order

U S District Judge Roger Foley issued a restraining order against Tom Hanleys gaming union and its alleged alter ego. The NLRB sought orders to bar picketing by the Office & Gaming Employes and the AFGE. The court cited likely efforts to compel Pioneer Club Management to recognize the unions as bargaining representatives. Danny Foster, ex-Hanley lieutenant, was named in the complaint. Neither union has been certified. The order lasts until the NLRB decides on alleged unfair labor practices and dummy-union claims.
