A 20-year-old dance instructor for the North Las Vegas Recreation Department was assaulted in her home early Friday as a large assailant stole her purse. She woke to find him over her bed, fought back but was choked, then the suspect fled with the purse. Police note this as part of several recent Las Vegas area offenses.
