Venezuela to raise oil prices next month by small margin
Venezuela will lift oil prices by about five to 10 cents per barrel next month, with increases of 10 to 15 cents for medium crude and 25 to 27 cents for high sulfur residual fuel. State oil officials said contracts with international buyers provide quarterly price revisions as Venezuela’s exports approach two million barrels per day. Analysts note the official price average of 11.04 dollars per barrel may overstate actual value at 9.83 dollars per barrel.
