Theodore Ted Brandt longtime Las Vegas resident and owner of White Cross Drug Stores died of a heart attack yesterday while fishing in Panguitch Utah. He was 55 and survived by his wife. Funeral services set for 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church 1515 W Charleston Blvd with entombment in Palm Mausoleum.

Californians Escape Plane Landing In Nevada Field
Pilot Peter R. Kennedy of Yorba Linda and passenger Carl E. Wood of Redondo Beach survived a forced landing when their single engine Cessna lost power while approaching McCarran Airport. The crash occurred in a field on the J. Kell Houssels Ranch in Paradise Valley. Investigators say clearance to land was granted shortly before 8 p.m.
