NAHB backs common sense housing policy for affordable homes
Leaders of the housing industry including Ron Causey of the Southern Nevada Home Builders Assn endorse a national common sense housing policy at a NAHB Board meeting in Washington. The plan calls for deregulation, a balanced budget, stable mortgage funds, energy policy, and support for housing needs of the elderly and low income. The NAHB moves its 1979 convention to Las Vegas and keeps the trade show there through 1982 with later dates in Houston and Dallas.
