Feds Rest Their Case In Lambs Tax Trial
IRS agent James Ballentine testified for six days as prosecutors rested their case against State Sen Floyd R Lamb of Las Vegas. He said Lamb owes about $20 000 for 1969 through 1972 based on a 22 page summary of financial deals and some 60 exhibits. The trial resumes with defense arguments on acquittal as Lamb’s team argues the returns were prepared with negligent information from others.
