Preliminary Hearing Set For Hanley
Tom Hanley head of a casino dealers union faced a preliminary hearing in Justice Court after being held without bail on charges of murdering Ralph Alsup an official of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union. Alsup died in front of his Paradise Valley home in January 1966. Warrants were issued for Carl Black and Norman Call. Black is at large. Call is serving a life term for a separate murder in San Francisco.
