Slayer Neeley sentenced to death in eight Graves case
Special Circuit Court Judge Dan M. McEachin sentenced 32 year old Neeley to die in the electric chair on August 4 at the Central Correctional Institution for his role in one of eight bodies found in shallow graves near Prospect last December. The case ties Donald Henry Gaskins to another conviction for Bellamy’s killing with a death sentence. The defense argued Neeley was mentally retarded and easily led by Gaskins, while the prosecution pressed for premeditation.
