Henderson County officials left out of state meetings sparks protest
Public Works Director George Perkins criticized county officials for excluding Henderson from planning talks at a City Planning Commission meeting. He noted two state meetings omitted Henderson while including others, though Henderson later joined a water meeting after the Colorado River Commission was named for Las Vegas valley. The session also noted commission vacancies, approved a dog kennel use permit for Paul Hansell, and discussed a private horse training stable near the reservoir. A Coral Dunes subdivision map near the city, Paradise Homes as subdivider, was tentatively approved.
